Modern Winter Cabin Scene with Timber Cladding

A 3ds Max winter cabin scene featuring dark timber cladding, expansive glazing, and an integrated outdoor terrace in snow. This architectural scene depicts a contemporary cabin retreat nestled in a snowy forest. The structure utilizes heavy timber framing with dark-stained cladding, contrasting against the bright, snow-covered landscape. A striking floor-to-ceiling glass gable end allows for maximum transparency, visually connecting the interior with the surrounding pine trees. The exterior includes a wrap-around timber deck furnished with outdoor seating, a dining area, and a stone-built fire pit. Minimalist lighting and subtle decor elements, such as a parked vintage car and light-string accents, complete the serene, cold-climate atmosphere of this high-fidelity environment.

The download is a 567 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can utilize this 3ds Max scene as a complete environment for architectural rendering. The file is structured to allow for immediate camera placement and adjustment of lighting parameters to suit specific winter time-of-day requirements. Users should manage the high-density geometry of the surrounding forest using object layers or proxy systems to maintain viewport responsiveness. Materials are pre-assigned and optimized for standard rendering workflows, allowing for quick iteration on texture maps or environmental effects such as snow accumulation and atmospheric depth.
