About this asset

This modern white oval freestanding bathtub with a floor-mounted chrome faucet is a 3ds Max model featuring a smooth, minimalist aesthetic. This freestanding bathtub features a clean, oval silhouette with gently curved walls that provide an ergonomic profile. The basin is finished in a smooth white material, likely acrylic or enamel-coated, which contrasts with the polished chrome finish of the floor-mounted mixer tap. The faucet assembly includes a slender spout and a handheld shower head, mounted on a vertical stand positioned directly behind the rim. The proportions are balanced, offering a contemporary look suitable for high-end residential interiors where a sculptural, central element is required to anchor the bathroom layout.

The download is a 6.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is best managed by importing the model into your scene as a single component. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the tub for easy placement on the floor plane. The chrome and white materials are separated by object ID or material slots, allowing for quick adjustments to reflection or glossiness settings to match your project lighting. Use a neutral HDRI environment map to achieve realistic highlights on the metallic faucet components and the smooth tub surface.

Ideal for luxury residential en-suite bathrooms, boutique hotel suites, and high-end spa interiors, this bathtub serves as a focal point for modern bathing spaces. It pairs well with minimalist floor-mounted tapware and large-format stone or porcelain tiling. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of fixture when specifying contemporary bathroom suites or master bedroom renovations. It is suitable for use in both visualisations and technical project documentation where a refined, clean-lined sanitary fixture is required to demonstrate a high-quality finish.
