Rustic Weathered Wood Bench and Stool Set with Decor

This rustic 3ds Max set features a weathered wood bench and matching stool, complete with decorative books and a small bowl. This set consists of two pieces of primitive-style furniture crafted from distressed, weathered timber. The bench features a rectangular seat supported by a simple frame with crossed bracing for structural stability. Accompanying it is a small, round-topped stool with splayed legs. Both pieces exhibit a raw, natural finish with visible wood grain and signs of age. The set is accessorised with a small ceramic bowl and a stack of books on the stool, plus a single book resting on the bench, adding a lived-in, authentic character to the composition.

The download is a 104 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these assets are organised as discrete objects within the scene, allowing for easy placement and individual selection. Users can adjust the overall scale to fit specific interior layouts or modify the material maps to suit different lighting conditions. The assets are provided with clean geometry, suitable for close-up architectural visualisations. Simply merge the file into your master project file, adjust the pivot points as required, and apply your preferred lighting setup to highlight the textured wood surfaces and natural imperfections.

These pieces are ideal for adding character to rustic, farmhouse, or wabi-sabi interiors. They function well as accent seating in entryways, living rooms, or bedrooms, providing a tactile, organic contrast to modern finishes. Designers often place them in projects requiring a sense of history, such as renovation schemes or period-inspired residential developments. Search for these items when looking to populate a scene with authentic, textured furniture that suggests a curated, collected aesthetic rather than a mass-produced, showroom-ready look.
