About this asset

This modern retail canteen interior scene for SketchUp features a fully furnished food and beverage store layout with shelving. This comprehensive interior scene depicts a contemporary retail canteen or convenience store. The space is anchored by a high-contrast black-and-white tiled floor and a suspended drop ceiling with recessed panel lighting. The layout includes multiple black metal gondola shelving units, a glass-fronted beverage cooler, and a point-of-sale service counter. Walls are finished in a neutral grey texture, adorned with branded signage and typography-based wall art. The arrangement provides a functional, high-density storage and display configuration, complete with a variety of packaged goods and snacks to establish a realistic commercial atmosphere.

The download is a 122 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp scene into your project, ensure all external textures are correctly mapped within the native asset editor. Use the outliner to manage layers for individual shelving units, signage, and lighting fixtures, allowing for quick adjustments to the store's overall footprint or layout. Scaling the entire group to match your specific floor plan dimensions is recommended before populating the space with additional custom assets or adjusting the lighting intensity for your preferred rendering engine.

This model is suited for retail design projects, particularly for convenience stores, campus canteens, or small-scale commercial food outlets. It serves as an effective base for conceptual planning or high-quality architectural visualisations. Designers can use this to quickly establish a commercial interior environment, pairing it with additional point-of-sale hardware or custom signage to suit specific branding requirements. It is ideal for project stages ranging from initial layout proposals to final client presentations where a populated, realistic retail environment is required.
