Contemporary Beige Velvet Living Room Scene in Brown

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features a curved velvet sofa and marble detailing in a warm, neutral palette. The space is defined by a sophisticated, neutral palette, anchored by a large, low-profile curved sofa upholstered in beige velvet. A matching armchair and a series of sculptural coffee tables with spherical bases complete the seating arrangement. The backdrop is a highly textured feature wall, combining dark brown wood panels with intricate moulding and a large-scale abstract painting. A low, cantilevered marble fireplace plinth runs along the wall, providing a clean, minimalist horizontal line. The flooring is a polished grey stone, softened by a large, textured area rug in charcoal tones.

The download is a 48.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can integrate this scene directly into SketchUp workflows as a starting point for high-end residential interiors. The file is pre-assembled, allowing for rapid camera placement and lighting adjustments. Users should check the layering system to isolate furniture assets for reuse in other projects. Material textures are applied to native surfaces, which can be easily swapped or re-mapped. For rendering, ensure all geometry is properly grouped to maintain clean geometry when adjusting the scene scale or adding custom lighting fixtures.

Ideal for architectural visualisations, this scene suits luxury apartment projects, hotel lobby concepts, or high-end residential renovations. The composition works well for presentations where a refined, contemporary aesthetic is required. Designers can use this as a base for exploring material palettes or as a reference for furniture layout proportions. It pairs effectively with minimalist lighting schemes and large-format art installations, making it a versatile resource for interior design firms working on premium residential or boutique hospitality developments.
