Contemporary Beige Fabric and Brown Leather Armchair

This contemporary SketchUp armchair features a curved backrest upholstered in beige fabric with a contrasting brown leather outer shell. Defined by its compact, rounded silhouette, this armchair balances comfort with a refined aesthetic. The internal seat and backrest are finished in a neutral, textured beige fabric, providing a soft contrast to the smooth, rich brown leather that wraps the exterior of the curved back. The piece sits on four slender, tapered legs in a dark finish, which provide structural support while maintaining a lightweight visual profile. The clean lines and seamless transition between materials make this an ideal choice for sophisticated interiors requiring a balance of texture and understated form.

The download is a 13 MB file containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into SketchUp, ensure the component is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward material replacement if the fabric or leather textures require adjustment to match specific project palettes. Users should check the scale upon insertion to ensure it aligns with standard ergonomic requirements. For high-quality visualisations, apply appropriate reflection maps to the leather surfaces to capture subtle light interactions, while keeping the fabric material settings matte for realism.

This armchair is well-suited for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and executive office waiting areas. Its compact footprint makes it a versatile solution for smaller reading nooks or as an accent piece in a master bedroom. Designers often specify this style when looking for a modern lounge chair that pairs well with minimalist coffee tables or side tables.
