About this asset

This modern open-plan living room scene for 3ds Max features a balanced blue and white palette with natural wood accents. This comprehensive interior scene captures a spacious, open-plan living and kitchen area defined by its coastal-inspired aesthetic. The living zone centres on a pale blue sofa paired with a round marble coffee table and a neutral patterned rug. Above, a large wooden ceiling fan is mounted to a white-painted beamed ceiling. The adjacent kitchen features a functional island with timber-topped stools and deep blue cabinetry that contrasts against white beadboard panelling. Intricate details such as woven pendant lights, decorative greenery, and arched architectural elements contribute to a cohesive, lived-in atmosphere throughout the entire space.

The download is a 549 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Utilise this scene as a base for architectural visualisation projects by appending the file into your master 3ds Max workspace. The geometry is fully arranged, allowing for immediate camera placement and viewport adjustments. Users should check the layer structure to isolate furniture components for individual modification or material swapping. Texture paths for the wood and marble surfaces should be re-linked to your local library to ensure correct rendering. This setup provides a high-quality foundation for testing lighting scenarios and final composition.

Ideal for residential interior design presentations, this scene serves as a professional reference for open-plan living layouts. It is well-suited for project stages requiring rapid conceptual visualisation or marketing imagery for real estate developments. Architects can use this as a starting point to study sightlines between kitchen and lounge areas or to test colour palettes in a realistic context. The aesthetic pairs effectively with light-toned oak flooring and neutral wall treatments, making it a versatile choice for contemporary home design portfolios.
