About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp ottoman features a grey herringbone fabric upholstery atop sleek metal legs with a speckled finish. This rectangular ottoman is defined by its clean, low-profile silhouette and textured upholstery. The main body is wrapped in a grey fabric with a subtle herringbone pattern, providing a tactile, neutral surface. It is supported by a slender metal frame with a distinct white and black speckled finish, which contrasts against the soft fabric. The proportions are balanced for use as a footrest or occasional seating in a variety of interior settings. Its simple, geometric form allows it to integrate seamlessly into modern residential or hospitality environments without overwhelming the surrounding space.

The download is a 2.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a component for easy placement and manipulation. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly relative to their scene's floor plane before integration. The fabric texture is applied as a seamless material, which can be easily swapped or adjusted within the material editor to match specific project requirements. The metal leg finish is mapped to the geometry, allowing for quick modifications to the material properties or colour if a different metallic or solid finish is required.

This versatile ottoman is well-suited for living room layouts, bedrooms, or walk-in closets where additional seating or a footrest is required. It pairs effectively with contemporary sofa sets, lounge chairs, or as a standalone piece in a reading nook. Designers frequently search for this type of asset when furnishing residential projects, hotel suites, or boutique retail showrooms. It functions as a flexible, space-saving furniture element that adds both texture and functionality to a room's interior design scheme.
