Contemporary Wabi-Sabi Open-Plan Living Room Interior Scene

This SketchUp model provides a complete wabi-sabi living room interior scene featuring a suspended fireplace and raw timber accents. Defined by a raw, textured aesthetic, this interior scene balances organic warmth with industrial precision. The space is anchored by a high-contrast dark marble floor and a striking suspended black metal fireplace. Notable elements include sculptural coffee tables crafted from raw log sections, a tiered cantilevered timber staircase, and a stone-clad feature wall. The furniture selection is minimalist, incorporating upholstered lounge seating and metal-framed accents that complement the exposed concrete ceiling beams. This composition offers a sophisticated, layered environment that prioritizes natural materiality and deliberate, uncluttered spatial planning for high-end residential or boutique hospitality projects.

The download is a 95.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

As a fully assembled SketchUp model, this scene is optimized for rapid integration into architectural visualisations. Users should verify that all assets are organized within logically named layers or tags to facilitate easy toggling of furniture or structural elements. When populating the scene, ensure that textures are correctly mapped and that lighting intensity is calibrated to the specific render engine settings. The file is structured to allow for camera adjustments and viewport composition, providing a ready-to-render environment that maintains consistent material properties throughout the workspace.
