About this asset

This contemporary straight kitchen unit in SketchUp features dark timber cabinetry with rattan cane-webbing inserts and a terrazzo countertop. This compact, straight-run kitchen assembly combines dark-stained timber frames with contrasting light-coloured rattan cane-webbing door panels. The design includes a full-height integrated refrigerator housing on the right, with upper and lower cabinetry providing storage. A white terrazzo countertop with dark flecks spans the base unit, housing an integrated sink and cooktop. The aesthetic balances natural textures with a modern, dark palette, suitable for minimalist or transitional interiors. The unit is presented as a singular, cohesive block, complete with hardware and integrated lighting beneath the upper cabinets to highlight the work surface.

The download is a 4.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model functions as a single component block, allowing for quick placement into floor plans or interior elevations. Users can easily scale or adjust the unit to fit specific wall lengths. The material textures are mapped to the geometry, enabling global updates to the timber or rattan finishes via the materials browser. It is recommended to keep the geometry on a dedicated layer for toggling visibility during the design development phase or when rendering interior views.

This kitchen unit is ideal for small-scale residential projects, studio apartments, or guest suites where space efficiency is critical. It pairs effectively with modern bar stools or minimalist dining sets. Designers searching for compact kitchen solutions or textured cabinetry will find this asset useful for rapid prototyping in residential planning. Its neutral yet striking appearance ensures versatility across various contemporary interior styles, making it a functional addition to both conceptual design stages and final rendered visualizations for client presentations.
