Contemporary Terracotta and Grey Open-Plan Apartment Scene

This contemporary open-plan apartment scene for SketchUp features a cohesive dining and lounge area defined by a warm terracotta and grey palette. This fully furnished interior scene showcases a balanced contemporary aesthetic, anchored by dark wood herringbone flooring. The dining zone includes a striking terracotta-toned table paired with black timber-frame chairs and a minimalist bench. Adjacent, the lounge area is defined by a charcoal grey sofa, a matching low-profile cylindrical coffee table, and a geometric-patterned rug. Subtle architectural details, such as vertical wall panelling and integrated cabinetry with recessed lighting, provide depth. The composition is completed with curated decor, including abstract wall art, a large indoor plant, and soft linen-look curtains that frame the balcony access.

The download is a 174 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can utilise this SketchUp model as a foundational template for residential interior projects. The file structure allows for easy manipulation of individual furniture assets, lighting components, and material mapping. Designers should verify the layer organisation upon import to manage geometry visibility efficiently. When integrating into a larger project, consider adjusting the global illumination settings and swapping textures to align with specific project requirements, ensuring that the camera angles are optimised for high-quality visualisation output.
