About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table features a high-gloss black top supported by ornate, metallic gold-finished cabriole legs. This rectangular coffee table presents a striking contrast between its sleek, dark-finished tabletop and the decorative, curved profile of its metallic legs. The apron features subtle, organic detailing that transitions into classic cabriole-style feet, providing a refined silhouette. The surface is presented as a set including curated decorative elements: a mirrored tray holding a clear glass vessel and a small box, alongside a potted plant placed on a stack of books. This composition balances the bold, modern aesthetic of the tabletop with the elegant, traditional influence of the gilded support structure.

The download is a 15.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a set, allowing users to toggle the visibility of the decorative accessories independently from the main table geometry. The material slots are clearly defined for the metallic finish and the lacquered surface, enabling quick adjustments to reflections or glossiness. Users should ensure the pivot point is centered at the base for easy alignment. Proper use of scene lights will enhance the contrast between the dark top and the reflective gold elements for realistic interior visualisations.

Ideal for high-end residential interiors, this piece serves as a sophisticated focal point in luxury living rooms, formal lounges, or boutique hotel reception areas. It pairs well with plush velvet seating or minimalist modern sofas that require a touch of metallic detail to ground the space. Designers and visualisers searching for glam-style furniture or statement accent pieces will find this model suitable for projects requiring a polished, high-contrast aesthetic. It integrates seamlessly into scenes focusing on refined, eclectic, or contemporary interior design narratives.
