Contemporary Multicolour Kids Bedroom Scene

A contemporary children's bedroom scene designed in SketchUp, featuring a custom arched bed alcove and integrated joinery. This children's bedroom scene features a cohesive, playful design centred around a large, arched wall alcove that houses the bed. The joinery is fully integrated, combining white and soft blue cabinetry with pink-accented open shelving units. A dedicated study area is positioned to the left, complete with a modern white task chair and desk. The room is accessorised with plush toys, decorative cushions, and cloud-shaped ceiling luminaires, creating a soft, inviting atmosphere. The material palette balances warm timber flooring with smooth matte cabinetry surfaces and textured fabric bedding, offering a balanced, layered aesthetic suitable for a child's space.

The download is a 297 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

As a complete room scene, this SketchUp model is best used as a foundational layout for interior visualisation projects. Users can easily toggle layers to hide or reveal specific furniture assets, adjust the lighting setup for different times of day, or swap textures to match specific client colour palettes. The model is structured for efficient navigation, allowing designers to quickly isolate the joinery or individual decor elements for re-use in other room layouts or to refine the overall composition within their own project files.
