Modern Brown Leather Chrome Tube Armchair, Single Seat

This modern brown leather and chrome tube armchair 3ds Max model features a distinctive suspended-seat design with a polished metallic frame. Defined by its industrial aesthetic, this armchair features a continuous tubular chrome frame supporting a series of tensioned leather straps. The design comprises a backrest, seat, and armrest panels, all rendered in a rich, dark brown leather finish. The frame follows a geometric, minimalist silhouette, with the horizontal and vertical elements creating a rigid, lightweight structure. The proportions are balanced, emphasising the contrast between the reflective, cold metallic finish of the steel tubes and the warm, tactile quality of the leather components. It is a classic example of early twentieth-century functionalist furniture design.

The download is a 46.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the texture paths are correctly re-linked to maintain the leather bump and reflection maps. The object is typically organised with the frame and leather upholstery on separate layers, allowing for easy material adjustments or colour variations. Use a standard physical material setup to achieve the desired sheen on the chrome components. Scale the asset to match your project units before positioning it within your interior compositions to ensure accurate spatial relationships in your render.
