Contemporary Dark Wood Kitchen Scene with Island

This contemporary kitchen interior scene for SketchUp features dark wood cabinetry, a stone island, and rattan pendant lighting. Defined by a sophisticated dark palette, this kitchen scene centers around a monolithic stone-clad island paired with minimalist timber-framed stools. The cabinetry utilizes vertical wood grain textures in a deep charcoal tone, creating a sharp contrast against the polished veined stone flooring. Three cylindrical rattan pendant lights hang above the island, providing a warm, textural element that complements the natural light filtering through expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. The layout incorporates integrated appliances and a seamless sink area, emphasizing clean lines and a refined, functional aesthetic suitable for high-end residential interiors.

Designed as a complete interior environment, this SketchUp scene allows users to integrate the entire layout directly into a project file. Professionals should manage the model using layers to isolate the lighting, furniture, and structural elements for easier editing. Materials are pre-mapped, but scaling may be required to suit specific floor plate dimensions. To achieve the intended atmosphere, users should adjust the sun position settings to match the scene's dramatic light casting and ensure all textures are correctly re-linked.
