Contemporary Brown Leather Living Room and Kitchen Scene

This contemporary SketchUp scene features an open-plan living room and kitchen, defined by a brown leather sofa and marble table. This fully furnished interior scene showcases a balanced, open-plan layout connecting the living area to the kitchen. The primary furniture includes a sleek brown leather sofa, a matching ottoman, and a circular marble-topped coffee table with black angular legs. A mid-century-inspired armchair with a leather seat and dark timber frame sits opposite a floor-to-ceiling timber-slatted screen that acts as a room divider. The space is anchored by a textured grey rug and features minimalist wall panelling with integrated art. Warm lighting, including a sculptural gold pendant, enhances the sophisticated, earth-toned material palette throughout the room.

The download is a 208 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model into a project, append the file to your active scene and use the tags or layer manager to isolate specific furniture or architectural elements. The materials are pre-mapped for standard rendering workflows, allowing for quick adjustments to texture scaling or reflection settings. Use the scene cameras to establish initial views, then adjust the lighting environment to match your project's specific time of day or light temperature requirements for a cohesive final render.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this scene serves as a high-quality base for visualising open-plan living and kitchen areas. It is particularly useful during the concept development and presentation stages of a project, providing a ready-to-use aesthetic for client pitches. Professionals can easily adapt this setup for apartments or modern suburban homes, pairing it with additional modular storage or bespoke joinery to suit specific floor plans. It is a versatile resource for creating realistic, warm, and inviting residential visualisations.
