Contemporary Yellow Fabric Black Metal Bar Stool

This contemporary 3ds Max bar stool features a slender black metal wire-frame base paired with a vibrant yellow upholstered seat cushion. The bar stool exhibits a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by its linear wire-frame construction. The frame is finished in a matte black powder coat, featuring vertical spindles that form both the seat structure and the backrest. A soft, square-profile seat cushion in a bright yellow fabric provides a sharp visual contrast to the dark metal. The base is slightly tapered, offering a stable footing with an integrated footrest ring at the front. The overall silhouette is minimal and lightweight, prioritising geometric repetition and a slender profile for modern kitchen or bar interiors.

The download is a 1.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this stool is provided as a single, clean mesh object. Users should check the pivot point at the base for accurate floor placement. Material assignments are separated by element, allowing for easy adjustment of the fabric texture or metal finish via the Slate Material Editor. For optimal results, ensure the model is scaled correctly against your scene units. Lighting setups should account for the fine wire geometry, which may require high-quality shadow samples to avoid aliasing artifacts during final render.

This piece is well-suited for high-end residential kitchen islands, breakfast bars, and commercial hospitality settings like cafes or boutique bars. It pairs effectively with industrial-style metal counters or minimalist wooden surfaces where a pop of colour is required. Designers often search for wire-frame seating, modern bar stools, or accent kitchen furniture to complete contemporary interior schemes. The stool works particularly well in open-plan living areas where sightlines remain unobstructed due to the open, airy nature of the metal frame design.
