About this asset

This white wireframe deer sculpture is a contemporary SketchUp model featuring an abstract, skeletal form mounted on a dark rectangular base. This decorative sculpture presents a stylized, abstract interpretation of a deer, constructed from a complex web of thin white metal rods. The form transitions from structured, geometric lines at the lower limbs to a dense, chaotic lattice across the body, culminating in minimalist, sweeping silhouettes for the antlers. It stands firmly upon a simple, solid black rectangular plinth, providing a grounded contrast to the airy, open-work nature of the upper structure. The piece relies on its linear silhouette and high-contrast colour palette to create a striking visual impact suitable for modern interior settings.

The download is a 27.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best handled as a single component to keep the scene organized. Because the geometry consists of numerous intersecting line segments, it is recommended to place this on a dedicated layer for easy toggling during render setup. Users should ensure the model is scaled appropriately relative to the room dimensions before applying materials. If using external renderers, consider applying a metallic or high-gloss white finish to the wireframe to enhance the light-catching qualities of the intricate rod structure.

This sculpture is ideal for adding character to minimalist or contemporary spaces. It works effectively as a focal point in residential hallways, on console tables in luxury hotel lobbies, or as an accent piece within high-end retail displays. Designers often look for abstract animal figures to break up clean, architectural lines in a room. It pairs well with neutral palettes and clean-lined furniture, serving as a subtle nod to nature without the clutter of traditional ornaments.
