About this asset

This 3ds Max ceiling fan features a minimalist white housing and three natural wood-grain blades with an integrated globe light. Designed with a clean, contemporary aesthetic, this ceiling fan consists of a central white motor housing suspended by a slim downrod. Three aerodynamically curved blades finished in a light natural wood grain extend from the hub, providing a soft, organic contrast to the matte white metal components. At the base, a spherical glass globe light provides ambient illumination, seamlessly integrating the cooling and lighting functions into a single unit. The composition is balanced and compact, making it suitable for lower ceiling heights where a streamlined, unobtrusive profile is required for residential interiors.

The download is a 1.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically handled as a single group or component. Users should ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the ceiling canopy for accurate rotation animation. Materials are applied to separate elements for the wood grain and white metal finishes, allowing for easy adjustment of glossiness or reflection settings. When merging into a scene, verify the scale against standard room heights to ensure the downrod length is appropriate for the intended ceiling application.

This fan is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, or covered patio areas in residential projects, particularly those following a Scandinavian or modern minimalist design language. It pairs well with light-toned interiors, oak furniture, and neutral colour palettes. Professionals might search for this item when specifying functional cooling solutions that double as statement lighting. It is a versatile choice for mid-century modern or contemporary renovations where clean lines and natural materials are prioritised to create a calm, airy atmosphere in domestic spaces.
