Traditional Black Wood Four-Poster Bed with Rattan Headboard

This traditional 3ds Max model of a black four-poster bed features a natural rattan headboard insert and a complete bedding set. Defined by its classic silhouette, this four-poster bed features a deep black timber frame with turned posts at each corner. The headboard is framed in matching dark wood and incorporates a woven rattan panel for textural contrast. The bed is supplied with a comprehensive dressing set, including a white mattress, a neutral-toned throw, and a selection of decorative cushions in striped and solid yellow fabrics. The proportions are balanced, offering a substantial presence suitable for a primary bedroom suite. All components, including the frame and soft furnishings, are modelled as discrete elements for material assignment.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the frame versus the bedding. Users should check the pivot point at the base of the frame for accurate placement on the floor plane. Materials are applied using standard mapping, which can be easily adjusted to suit specific project lighting conditions. The geometry is clean, ensuring efficient viewport performance when integrating this asset into larger residential interior scenes or detailed bedroom visualisations.

Ideal for residential master bedrooms or high-end hotel suites, this bed serves as a focal piece in traditional, colonial, or eclectic interior design schemes. It pairs well with dark wood nightstands, vintage-inspired table lamps, and neutral area rugs. Designers frequently search for this type of asset when specifying furniture for period-style renovations, boutique hotel projects, or luxury home staging. Its timeless aesthetic provides a grounding element in rooms featuring layered textiles and classic architectural detailing, such as crown moulding or wainscoting.
