Vertical Green Wall Trellis with Timber Planter

This 3ds Max model features a vertical green wall trellis with an integrated timber planter, ideal for contemporary interior partitions. This freestanding biophilic partition combines a structured timber-slat trellis with a matching rectangular planter base. The system supports dense climbing vegetation that covers the vertical frame, creating a natural screen for open-plan environments. The planter box features fine horizontal timber detailing, providing a grounding element to the light, airy structure of the trellis above. The metal frame hidden within the wood structure ensures stability for the foliage. Its clean, linear proportions allow it to function as both a room divider and a decorative accent piece, balancing organic texture with structured, architectural form.

The download is a 13.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the foliage geometry is managed through appropriate layer states to maintain scene performance. The unit is designed for simple placement; scale it to match your architectural floor plan before applying custom materials to the timber and plant surfaces. Use standard lighting setups to cast soft shadows through the foliage, and consider using a multi-sub object material to manage the different textures for the wood, soil, and leaves within the native material editor.

This partition is suited for residential living areas, modern office break-out spaces, or hospitality lobbies where a soft, natural room divider is required. It pairs well with minimalist furniture and neutral palettes, helping to define zones without obstructing light. Professionals often search for biophilic design elements, indoor privacy screens, or vertical garden solutions to enhance interior environments. It is an effective tool for visual separation in open-plan layouts while introducing greenery to urban office settings or high-end residential projects.
