About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model of a taupe upholstered double bed features a clean, minimalist headboard and a curated selection of cushions. This double bed features a fully upholstered frame finished in a soft taupe fabric, providing a neutral and cohesive aesthetic. The headboard is split into two distinct panels, offering a subtle geometric detail. The bedding ensemble includes a textured, dark-toned throw blanket with a fine grid pattern, layered over a matching taupe coverlet. The decorative arrangement is completed by two square pillows with a monochrome houndstooth-style border and a central, horizontally-stitched bolster cushion in a deep brown tone. The proportions are balanced, making it a versatile piece for various interior design schemes.

The download is a 103 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, import the geometry and ensure the scale is set to match your project units. The fabric materials are pre-applied; check the texture mapping coordinates to ensure the grid pattern on the throw appears correctly. Organize the components into separate layers for the bed frame, mattress, and individual cushions, allowing for easy selection and adjustment. Applying a soft area light or an HDRI environment map will highlight the fabric textures and the subtle depth of the stitching.

Ideal for residential master suites or high-end hotel guest rooms, this bed integrates seamlessly into minimalist or contemporary interior projects. It pairs well with neutral palettes, timber flooring, and soft ambient lighting. Professionals often search for this type of asset when staging bedrooms for architectural visualisations or interior design presentations.
