About this asset

This traditional SketchUp model features a sage green fabric curtain assembly complete with a dark brown pelmet and matching tiebacks. The assembly comprises a pair of floor-length sage green fabric curtains gathered at the sides with dark brown, minimalist tiebacks. A structured, pleated pelmet in a matching dark brown tone spans the top, concealing the curtain track and providing a formal finish. The fabric features natural, soft-touch folds and drapes, creating a realistic silhouette suitable for interior visualisations. The composition is balanced and symmetrical, designed to frame a window opening cleanly while adding a layer of depth and texture to a room's interior design scheme.

The download is a 12.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed by placing it on a dedicated 'Curtains' or 'Window Treatments' layer to maintain model organisation. Users can easily scale the geometry along the horizontal axis to match specific window widths, though vertical scaling should be performed with care to preserve the proportions of the pelmet and the natural hang of the fabric folds. Applying custom high-resolution textures to the surfaces can further enhance the final render quality when using external rendering plugins.

These curtains are well-suited for classic or traditional residential interiors, such as formal living rooms, dining areas, or master bedrooms. They pair effectively with timber-framed windows or ornate architectural moulding. Professionals searching for 'window dressings,' 'formal curtains,' or 'classic interior drapery' will find this asset useful for mid-to-high-end residential projects or hospitality suites requiring a polished, finished look. The neutral yet sophisticated colour palette allows for easy integration into various established interior design styles and colour schemes.
