Rustic Natural Wood Side Table with Rattan Fan Decor

This rustic 3ds Max model features a round wooden pedestal side table styled with a ceramic vase and a hand-woven rattan fan. The composition comprises a small, circular-top side table crafted from dark, textured timber, featuring a distinctively flared, multi-tiered pedestal base that adds architectural weight to the piece. Resting atop the table is a simple, matte-finished ceramic vase with a tapered silhouette. Protruding from the vase is an intricate, hand-woven circular rattan fan, which serves as the primary decorative focal point. The ensemble leans into a wabi-sabi aesthetic, prioritising raw textures and organic forms over polished surfaces. The interplay between the smooth ceramic, the linear grain of the wood, and the complex weave of the rattan creates visual depth.

The download is a 5.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the table, vase, and fan as individual elements. Users should check the pivot points at the base of the table for efficient placement on floor surfaces. The materials are mapped with standard texture coordinates, which can be easily adjusted or swapped to match specific scene lighting conditions. Ensure that the scale is verified against your project units before merging the model into larger interior scenes to maintain spatial accuracy.
