About this asset

This 3ds Max coffee table set features a natural live-edge wood top on a black metal frame, paired with a circular fringed area rug. This composition pairs a raw, organic coffee table with a traditional patterned rug. The table slab retains its natural live-edge profile, complete with a prominent central check, supported by a minimalist black metal frame. A circular area rug provides the base, featuring a classic intricate medallion pattern in shades of cream and deep brown, finished with a delicate fringe along the perimeter. The set also includes decorative accessories such as a glass vase with foliage, a spherical object, and a small coffee cup, which add a lived-in, curated aesthetic to the furniture piece.

The download is an 11.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for the table, rug, and decorative accessories, allowing for easy selection or adjustment. The live-edge wood texture uses high-resolution maps to capture the grain and natural fissures, while the rug utilizes a detailed displacement or bump map to simulate the texture of the fabric weave. Users can simply merge this asset into a scene, scale it to fit the floor plan, and adjust the material shaders to suit specific lighting conditions.

The set is ideal for adding warmth and texture to residential living rooms, particularly those aiming for a rustic or eclectic interior design style. It works well as a focal point in lounge areas, sitting rooms, or informal meeting spaces. Designers often search for these items when staging interiors that balance industrial metal accents with organic wood elements and traditional soft furnishings. The piece pairs effectively with leather or linen sofas and can be used in both contemporary and transitional project stages.
