Traditional Dark Wood Bench with Upholstered Cushions

This traditional dark wood bench for 3ds Max features an elegant carved frame, linen-look upholstery, and contrasting red bolster cushions. Defined by its classic silhouette, this bench features a dark-stained wood frame with distinctively curved scroll arms and turned legs. The seat is padded with a neutral-toned, textured fabric that provides a clean contrast to the deep, polished wood finish. Included in the set are two square back cushions and two cylindrical bolster cushions in a striking red fabric, adding a formal decorative element to the design. The proportions are balanced, making it a sophisticated piece for formal interiors where traditional craftsmanship and rich material textures are required to complete a space.

The download is a 19 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the pivot point is centered at the base for easy floor placement. The model is structured with logical layering, allowing for efficient material adjustments to the wood or fabric components without affecting geometry. Use standard material editors to refine the fabric shaders or to adjust the wood grain scale if necessary. The asset is scaled to real-world proportions, making it ready to be merged into interior scenes and lit using standard photometric lights or HDRI maps.

This bench works effectively in residential entryways, formal living rooms, or at the foot of a bed in a master suite. Its traditional aesthetic pairs well with classic interior styles, luxury hotel lobbies, or boutique retail environments. Designers might search for this piece when looking for transitional or formal accent seating that provides both comfort and character. It functions as a versatile focal point in high-end residential projects, especially in spaces that require a touch of historical influence or refined, decorative furniture elements.
