Rustic Circular Hanging Wood Shelves with Chain

This rustic SketchUp model features a set of two circular hanging wood shelves suspended by metal chains for display purposes. These decorative shelves are constructed from a circular timber frame, resembling a barrel hoop, with a flat horizontal shelf surface integrated at the base. The design is suspended from the ceiling by two vertical metal chains attached to each side of the hoop. The wood texture appears weathered and distressed, enhancing the rustic aesthetic of the piece. Included in the set are various bottle and box accessories, providing a ready-to-use display arrangement suitable for holding wine or other decorative items. The proportions are balanced, making them suitable for vertical wall or ceiling installations.

The download is a 5.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these shelves are organised as a component, allowing for easy placement and alignment within a project file. Users can scale the individual elements or adjust the chain length to accommodate different ceiling heights. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily swapped or adjusted to match specific interior finishes. Because the chains and shelf components are grouped, toggling visibility or moving the entire assembly is straightforward, ensuring minimal impact on the model's overall file size during rendering.
