Grey and Brown Concrete Pavement Checkerboard Texture

This 2K PBR concrete pavement texture features a checkerboard pattern of grey and brown tiles for realistic exterior surfaces. This PBR texture set captures a classic checkerboard pavement layout composed of square concrete pavers. The surface displays a distinct interplay between cool grey and earthy brown tones, providing subtle color variation across the grid. Each unit features a granular, weathered concrete finish that suggests high durability for outdoor applications. Shallow, clean-cut grout lines define the geometry, adding depth and shadow definition. The overall appearance is uniform yet textured, suitable for large-scale floor mapping where a consistent, repeating pattern is required to simulate a functional urban or residential sidewalk or plaza surface.

The download is a 76.3 MB compressed archive with the texture set at 2K with colour, normal, roughness, ambient occlusion and displacement maps, ready for any metal/roughness PBR workflow in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Unreal Engine or D5.

Apply this 2K texture set by mapping the diffuse, roughness, and normal maps to your material editor's respective slots. The displacement map can be used to add physical depth to the grout lines during rendering. Given the 2.10 x 2.10 metre real-world coverage, ensure your UV coordinates are scaled to match this dimension for an accurate representation. The included packed ARM maps and format-specific material files allow for streamlined integration into common PBR-based rendering workflows.

Ideal for landscape architecture and urban design projects, this pavement texture is well-suited for plazas, pedestrian walkways, and residential driveway rendering. It pairs effectively with modern building facades or minimalist hardscaping elements. Professionals searching for exterior ground materials, sidewalk surface textures, or concrete paving solutions will find this asset useful for creating realistic site plans and exterior visualisations. Its neutral, dual-tone colour palette ensures versatility when coordinating with surrounding vegetation, street furniture, or contemporary architectural materials in both public and private outdoor environments.
