About this asset

This tileable PBR texture set features warm brown wood planks in a running bond pattern, delivered as a 2K map collection. This material captures the authentic appearance of weathered timber blocks embedded in a light-toned grout matrix. The surface displays prominent end-grain patterns and coarse, directional saw marks, suggesting a reclaimed or artisanal aesthetic. Each block exhibits subtle variations in tone and texture, contributing to a realistic, organic floor finish. The 2K resolution ensures that the fine details of the wood grain and the depth of the grout lines remain crisp. This PBR set provides a high-fidelity representation of rustic wood block flooring, suitable for both modern and traditional interior design schemes.

The download is a 61.1 MB compressed archive with the texture set at 2K with colour, normal, roughness, ambient occlusion and displacement maps, ready for any metal/roughness PBR workflow in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Unreal Engine or D5.

Professionals can implement this PBR set by assigning the provided albedo, normal, roughness, and displacement maps within their render engine's material editor. The inclusion of DirectX and OpenGL normal maps ensures compatibility across various platforms, while the packed ARM map simplifies channel-based material setups. Given the 2.03m by 2.03m scan area, users should set the tiling scale accordingly to achieve a real-world, non-repeating look across large floor surfaces in architectural visualisation projects.

This flooring material excels in high-end residential projects, boutique hospitality spaces, and rustic-themed commercial interiors. It pairs effectively with natural stone, raw steel, or soft linen furnishings to anchor a space with warmth and character. Architects and interior designers will find this asset useful for creating tactile, grounded floors in kitchens, living areas, or entryway halls. Search for this texture when specifying reclaimed wood block flooring, weathered timber finishes, or rustic, industrial-inspired interior surfaces for authentic material representation.
