About this asset

This rustic 3ds Max model features a square wood crate side table paired with two white ceramic canisters, ideal for textured interior scenes. The primary element is a square side table constructed from weathered, rough-hewn timber slats, reinforced with two horizontal bands of dark, matte-finished metal. The wood displays a natural, aged grain with visible cracks and knots, providing an authentic, reclaimed appearance. Resting on top are two cylindrical white ceramic canisters, each topped with a light-toned wooden lid. These accessories contrast sharply with the dark, heavy aesthetic of the crate. The set provides a balanced composition of organic textures, making it suitable for vignettes requiring a touch of industrial or farmhouse charm.

The download is a 5.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised as a single asset group. Users should check the pivot point upon import to ensure easy placement on floor planes. The textures are mapped to the crate and canisters, allowing for adjustments to the wood grain scale or ceramic glossiness through the material editor. Because the crate is a simple geometric form, it can be easily scaled or duplicated to create larger storage arrangements without compromising the visual integrity of the rustic timber finish.

This asset works effectively in residential projects, particularly those embracing a farmhouse, industrial, or wabi-sabi aesthetic.
