About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a rectangular wooden planter filled with dried ornamental grasses, suitable for interior landscaping projects. This decorative planter assembly consists of a clean-lined rectangular box finished in a warm, textured wood grain. The container is filled with a dense cluster of slender, dried ornamental grass stems, providing a soft, organic contrast to the linear geometry of the wooden housing. The base of the stems is finished with a layer of granular soil or decorative stone topping, adding a realistic touch to the overall composition. The proportions are balanced for use as a room divider or a low-profile decorative element in contemporary architectural spaces.

The download is a 37.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When using this model in 3ds Max, manage the vegetation density through instance placement if high-performance rendering is required. The textures for the wood grain and dried foliage should be mapped using standard coordinate systems to maintain material fidelity. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the planter for easier snapping and alignment within your scene hierarchy. Lighting setups should account for the fine geometry of the grass stems to avoid excessive aliasing during final image generation.

This planter is ideal for adding biophilic elements to modern residential living rooms, office lobbies, or hotel reception areas. It serves as an effective, low-maintenance visual partition between functional zones in open-plan layouts. Professionals often search for this type of asset when specifying interior greenery, botanical decor, or room dividers that require a natural aesthetic. It pairs well with minimalist furniture and neutral colour palettes, providing a textured, organic focal point in both commercial and high-end residential design schemes.
