Rattan and Dark Wood Dining Set with Cushions

This tropical 3ds Max dining set features four rattan chairs with olive cushions and a dark wood square table, ideal for terraces. This dining set comprises four curved-back rattan chairs and a matching square slatted-top table finished in a deep dark brown stain. Each chair features a lightweight, bent-rattan frame with a rounded profile and integrated cross-bracing for structural stability. The seats are fitted with simple, olive-toned fabric cushions that contrast with the natural honey-coloured rattan structure. A small decorative potted cactus sits at the centre of the table, which is constructed from dark, linear wood slats. The proportions are compact and airy, reflecting a relaxed aesthetic suitable for indoor or semi-outdoor living spaces.

The download is a 9.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can merge this set directly into a 3ds Max scene using the standard import dialogue. The models are organised by object type, allowing for easy selection and material adjustment of the cushions or timber surfaces. The UV maps are pre-applied to the rattan geometry, ensuring realistic texture orientation. Lighting setups for this asset should focus on soft, diffused ambient light to highlight the natural material qualities and avoid harsh shadows across the intricate rattan weaving patterns.

This set is appropriate for residential dining areas, casual breakfast nooks, or hospitality projects such as cafe terraces, hotel balconies, and sunrooms. It pairs effectively with natural textures like linen curtains, jute rugs, or indoor greenery to reinforce a tropical or coastal interior scheme. Designers searching for lightweight, informal seating solutions will find this arrangement versatile for both open-plan living and semi-covered outdoor environments. It provides an authentic aesthetic for projects requiring a relaxed, tactile furniture selection.
