About this asset

This contemporary green arched double door for SketchUp features fluted glass panels and brass hardware in a refined design. This double door assembly features a prominent arched frame finished in a deep matte green. Each leaf is divided into a solid lower panel and an upper glazed section, which incorporates vertical fluted glass for privacy while maintaining light transmission. The glazing is subdivided by a grid of fine mullions. Brass lever handles are centrally mounted, providing a metallic accent against the coloured timber surfaces. The assembly is set within a matching arched casing, designed to integrate seamlessly into wall panelling systems, offering a balanced, symmetrical aesthetic suitable for high-end interior applications.

The download is a 13.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this door model is typically managed as a component. Users should verify the insertion point to ensure correct alignment with wall openings. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy scaling to match specific architectural dimensions. Materials are applied using standard SketchUp texture mapping, and the brass hardware can be adjusted independently if necessary. For rendering, ensure the fluted glass material is assigned a refractive index to capture light interaction across the textured surface accurately.

Ideal for residential projects, this door serves as an elegant transition between living spaces, such as a formal dining room or a home library. It complements contemporary, transitional, and eclectic interiors. Professionals often search for arched double doors to add character to heritage renovations or to create a focal point in new-build luxury apartments. The design pairs well with minimalist wall panelling and neutral palettes, where the bold green finish acts as a sophisticated design statement in a hallway or lobby.
