About this asset

This 3ds Max set features two indoor plants in decorative ceramic pots, including a tropical palm and a slender grass variety. This set includes two distinct potted plants suitable for interior styling. The larger specimen is a palm with slender, arching fronds, housed in a white, ribbed cylindrical ceramic pot. The second, smaller plant features upright, spike-like foliage reminiscent of ornamental grass, contained within a white cylindrical pot decorated with a repeating black geometric arrow pattern. Both plants are presented with realistic soil textures at the base. The proportions are balanced for placement on consoles, side tables, or floor groupings in contemporary residential or commercial lobby settings.

The download is a 15.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these assets are typically managed as grouped objects. Users can easily adjust the scale to fit specific interior contexts or use individual plant elements separately. The materials are applied as standard shaders, allowing for quick adjustments to the reflective properties of the ceramic pots or the translucency of the foliage leaves. Best practice involves checking the pivot points to ensure correct placement on floor or furniture surfaces before integrating them into the final scene lighting setup.

These plants are essential for adding life and organic texture to interior visualisations. They perform well in modern living rooms, minimalist home offices, or high-end hotel reception areas, where they can soften sharp architectural lines. Interior designers often search for these assets to populate shelves, corners, or entryways. They pair effectively with contemporary furniture, stone surfaces, and timber finishes. Use terms like indoor greenery, potted foliage, or decorative plants to locate these assets when styling architectural renderings for various project stages.
