Potted Fiddle Leaf Fig and Fern Set

This 3ds Max set features two indoor plants in minimalist white planters, comprising a tall fiddle leaf fig and a smaller fern. This decorative set includes two distinct botanical specimens housed in matching, smooth white tapered planters. The larger plant is a fiddle leaf fig, characterised by its broad, violin-shaped foliage arranged along a central stem. Beside it sits a smaller, bushy fern with dense, feathery fronds. Both plants are modelled with naturalistic leaf variations and textures, providing a realistic appearance for interior visualisations. The planters feature a clean, cylindrical profile that tapers slightly towards the base, suiting a range of contemporary interior styles from residential living spaces to corporate reception areas.

The download is a 22 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised as a group or individual assets, allowing for easy placement and rotation within a scene. Users should check the pivot points at the base of the planters to ensure accurate positioning on floor planes. The foliage relies on opacity maps for leaf edges, so ensure these are correctly linked in the material editor. For optimal render performance, consider using instances if populating large interior spaces or commercial lobbies with multiple plant arrangements.

These plants are ideal for adding organic life to architectural visualisations, including high-end residential living rooms, modern office lobbies, and boutique hotel interiors. They pair well with minimalist furniture and neutral colour palettes, acting as a soft counterpoint to hard architectural surfaces. Professionals often search for these assets when looking to populate corner spaces, entryways, or to enhance the realism of a staged room. They are particularly effective for filling voids in commercial fit-outs and residential design proposals.
