About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a natural wood frame and soft beige fabric cushions, ideal for residential lounge areas. Constructed with a clear focus on structural simplicity, this armchair showcases a light-toned wood frame with distinct, wide flat armrests and a vertical slatted backrest. The design balances rigid timber elements with plush, comfortable seating provided by a seat pad and a single back cushion, both upholstered in a textured beige fabric. The joinery is visible and intentional, emphasizing the craftsmanship of the frame. Its proportions are generous for a lounge chair, offering a stable base with angled rear legs that provide a slight recline, enhancing the overall ergonomic appeal of the piece.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the timber frame and fabric components. Users can apply custom wood stains or fabric textures using standard material editors to match specific interior palettes. The geometry is clean and suitable for high-quality architectural visualisation, with proper UV mapping for the textile elements. It is recommended to check the pivot point upon insertion to ensure the chair sits correctly on the floor plane within your scene.

This armchair is well-suited for residential living rooms, reading nooks, and boutique hotel lobbies where a natural, organic aesthetic is desired. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables, wool area rugs, and floor lamps to create a tranquil seating group. Designers often search for this type of lounge furniture when working on scandinavian or mid-century inspired projects that require a balance between warmth and modern clean lines. It works as a focal point in small spaces or as a pair in larger layouts.
