About this asset

This Japanese-inspired Zen courtyard garden scene for SketchUp features a tranquil composition of timber decking, gravel pathways, and stone elements. Designed with a focus on balance and natural textures, this garden scene incorporates a timber-slatted privacy screen and a matching wood pergola adorned with climbing flora. The ground plane is defined by a gravel bed punctuated by irregular dark stone stepping stones that lead through the space. A central island of moss and low-lying shrubs is anchored by a mature tree, while larger decorative boulders provide organic contrast. A small seating area with two minimalist chairs and a circular side table sits on the adjacent timber decking, completing the serene outdoor environment.

The download is a 41.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Utilise this SketchUp scene as a foundational environment for exterior visualisations. The model is structured with distinct layers for vegetation, hardscaping, and furniture, allowing for easy adjustment of individual components. Users can scale the entire assembly to fit specific site boundaries or modify the material textures to match regional stone and timber species. Ensure that proxy objects are managed correctly within the native environment to maintain viewport performance while refining the final camera angles and lighting setup for your project.
