About this asset

This 3ds Max wine cabinet features a dark wood finish and glass-fronted display sections, ideal for refined oriental-style interiors. Constructed with a deep walnut-toned timber frame, this wall-integrated cabinet balances solid storage with open and glass-enclosed display compartments. The central section provides a recessed niche for decorative items, flanked by vertical shelving units protected by glass doors. The vertical grain orientation on the base cupboards adds a subtle texture, contrasting with the smooth, minimalist lines of the shelving structure. The unit includes a curated selection of bottles and ceramic vessels, which are integrated into the composition to demonstrate scale and visual balance within the display configuration.

The download is a 7.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layer separation for the glass, timber elements, and decorative accessories. Users should place the unit against a wall plane, ensuring the rear face is aligned correctly. Material slots are assigned to distinct object IDs, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain direction or glass transparency settings. Lighting should be focused on the internal shelving to highlight the contents, using area lights or light portals to simulate ambient glow within the glass-fronted sections.
