About this asset

This contemporary off-white rectangular rug is a SketchUp model featuring a detailed geometric pattern of radiating lines. This contemporary area rug features a clean, rectangular silhouette with a subtle, sophisticated geometric motif. The design is defined by a series of fine, radiating lines that create semi-circular patterns across the off-white surface, suggesting a hand-tufted or woven texture. With its neutral colour palette and minimalist aesthetic, the rug provides a soft, grounding element for interior spaces. The low-profile construction ensures it sits flush against floor surfaces, making it an unobtrusive yet visually interesting addition to a room. Its balanced proportions and rhythmic pattern work well in both large open-plan areas and more intimate settings.

The download is a 6.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this rug into a SketchUp scene, simply import the component and place it on the finished floor plane. Ensure the model is positioned slightly above the floor surface to prevent z-fighting during rendering. Users can easily scale the object to fit specific room dimensions or apply custom material textures to the surface if a different weave or colour is required. Keeping the rug on a dedicated layer allows for quick toggling during early design development or when adjusting floor finishes.

Ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and high-end hospitality suites, this rug adds a layer of comfort and tactile interest to modern interiors. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture, mid-century modern seating, or contemporary lounge arrangements. Professionals often search for neutral area rugs to anchor seating groups or define zones within open-plan floor plates. Whether used in a staging project, a renovation visualisation, or a bespoke interior design concept, this piece serves as a versatile floor covering that complements various design styles.
