About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa is a SketchUp model featuring a beige fabric finish, a quilted base, and a natural wood frame. This three-seater sofa showcases a clean, contemporary aesthetic with a focus on tactile contrast. The main body is upholstered in a smooth, light beige fabric, while the lower front panel features a distinct quilted diamond-patterned texture. The frame is supported by a solid, warm-toned wood base that wraps around the lower perimeter, providing a grounding visual anchor. The backrest is gently curved, extending into integrated armrests that maintain a sleek, low-profile silhouette. Two throw cushions, one in a contrasting tan and one in matching beige, are included to complete the composition.

The download is a 60.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this asset into a SketchUp model, use the import function to bring the file into your workspace. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for upholstery to manage visibility easily. Since the model includes distinct material zones—fabric, quilted texture, and wood—apply materials using the paint bucket tool to refine the finish for specific interior lighting conditions. Use standard scale tools to match the sofa dimensions to your floor plan, ensuring the base sits flush with your finished floor surface.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or upscale waiting areas, this sofa pairs well with minimalist coffee tables and marble-clad feature walls. Its neutral palette and textured detailing make it a versatile choice for contemporary interior design projects. Professionals often search for this type of seating when specifying furniture for high-end residential developments or modern hospitality spaces where comfort and refined aesthetics are required. It serves as a central focal point in open-plan layouts, working effectively with both warm and cool colour schemes.
