About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max 2-seater sofa features off-white fabric upholstery, dark wooden legs, and a collection of decorative cushions. This compact 2-seater sofa features a clean, contemporary profile defined by square arms and plush, separate seat and back cushions. The upholstery is a neutral off-white fabric, providing a versatile base for interior styling. It is accessorised with three scatter cushions—two featuring geometric patterns and one in a solid warm tone—alongside a draped mustard-coloured throw blanket that adds texture to the composition. The base is framed by a slender dark-stained wooden plinth, which elevates the structure and provides a subtle material contrast to the soft, light-toned textile used throughout the main seating surfaces.

The download is a 12.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy separation of the cushions and throw blanket if needed for specific compositions. The fabric textures are mapped with standard UV coordinates, making it straightforward to adjust the scale or colour of the upholstery within your preferred material editor. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs to allow for precise placement on floor surfaces, and consider using a light-caching render setting to maintain the softness of the fabric.

Ideal for residential living rooms or small lounge areas in hospitality projects, this 2-seater sofa works effectively in both minimalist and eclectic interior schemes. It serves as a practical asset for staged apartment visualisations, waiting areas, or boutique hotel suites where a comfortable, inviting seating element is required.
