About this asset

This 3ds Max dining set features a live-edge wooden table, four rattan chairs, and an integrated arched shelving unit. This organic dining composition centres around a live-edge slab table supported by a heavy cylindrical timber base. Four lightweight chairs accompany the table, each featuring rattan-weave backrests and slim black metal frames. An arched floor-to-ceiling shelving unit is attached to the rear of the table, providing three horizontal wooden shelves for decor. The set includes a woven pendant light and various small decorative objects, such as vases and potted plants, which complement the raw, natural aesthetic. The combination of textures—rough timber, woven rattan, and sleek metal—creates a cohesive, wabi-sabi inspired dining environment.

The download is a 133 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the chairs, table, and shelving system. Users should verify pivot points to ensure the chairs can be easily rotated or repositioned around the table. Materials are mapped with realistic wood grain and rattan patterns; ensure that texture paths are correctly re-linked upon importing. Lighting setups should account for the included pendant light, which can be easily assigned a photometric light or emissive material for final render passes.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, boutique hospitality spaces, or casual cafe environments, this set provides a focal point for projects requiring an organic or artisanal feel. It pairs well with neutral palettes, exposed plaster walls, or soft ambient lighting. Professionals searching for natural dining solutions, live-edge furniture, or integrated storage-dining combinations will find this asset versatile for both interior design visualisation and architectural concept work. It is particularly effective in spaces that prioritise tactile materials and a relaxed, unrefined atmosphere.
