About this asset

This SketchUp model features a set of two rectangular rugs crafted from natural woven fibres with a distinct textured finish. This collection includes two rectangular floor rugs, each defined by a dense, woven natural fibre construction. The design emphasises organic textures, showcasing a tight, uniform weave that provides a tactile quality to interior surfaces. Both pieces feature a clean, structured border that frames the central woven pattern. The colour palette remains neutral, utilising light beige and natural wood tones to ensure versatility across various interior styles. These rugs provide a grounded, earthy aesthetic suitable for adding warmth to living areas, bedrooms, or sunlit spaces where organic materials are desired.

The download is a 39 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these rugs into a SketchUp model, simply import the components and place them directly onto the floor geometry. As flat surfaces, they are best managed by ensuring the model is positioned slightly above the floor plane to prevent z-fighting. Users can easily scale the components to fit specific room dimensions or modify the material mapping if a different weave scale is required for close-up renders. Maintain these as distinct components to keep the model layers organised and lightweight.

These rugs are ideal for residential interior projects, particularly within living rooms, bedrooms, or conservatory spaces. They pair well with mid-century or minimalist furniture, providing a soft contrast to hard timber or concrete flooring. Professionals looking for natural floor coverings will find these useful for creating a sense of calm in hotel suites or wellness-focused retail showrooms. Search for these by terms such as natural fibre floor covering, woven area rug, or organic texture floor mat to find similar assets.
