About this asset

This modern white fabric armchair for 3ds Max features a distinct architectural frame and continuous armrest design with plush upholstery. This armchair features a geometric, modern silhouette defined by a thick, continuous frame that integrates the armrests directly into the base structure. The seat, backrest, and armrests are fully upholstered in a clean white fabric, creating a seamless, monolithic appearance. The proportions are balanced, offering a deep seat and a supportive, upright backrest. Minimalist in its aesthetic, the chair relies on its clean lines and simple form rather than decorative hardware or complex textures. The construction suggests a solid internal frame, ensuring stability while maintaining a soft, inviting profile for lounge settings.

The download is a 5.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your master project file. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy placement within interior layouts. Apply standard fabric shaders to the base object to achieve the desired material finish. Ensure the pivot point is set at the floor level for efficient snapping and alignment. If necessary, adjust the UV mapping to ensure the fabric grain aligns correctly with the chair's form before initiating your final render sequence.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern office breakout areas, this piece functions well as a singular accent chair or as part of a larger seating arrangement. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables and minimalist side tables. Designers often search for this type of armchair when specifying furniture for contemporary apartments or high-end commercial lounges where a clean, neutral aesthetic is required. Its versatile form makes it suitable for both casual reading nooks and formal reception seating layouts.
