Contemporary Black Metal Glass 8-Seater Dining Set

This contemporary 8-seater dining set for SketchUp features a glass-top table with a black x-frame base and wire-frame chairs. The set comprises a rectangular dining table with a clear glass top supported by a distinctive black metal x-frame base. Accompanying the table are eight dining chairs, each featuring a black powder-coated wire-frame backrest and sleek black legs, finished with white upholstered seat cushions for comfort. A decorative area rug with a graphic, minimalist pattern sits beneath the furniture, grounding the composition. The entire set is arranged as a cohesive unit, providing a balanced, modern aesthetic suitable for open-plan living areas or formal dining spaces where clean lines and material contrast are desired.

The download is a 21.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 9 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this set is organised as a group or component, allowing for easy placement and rotation within your model. The glass and metal materials are mapped with standard textures, which can be adjusted or replaced to suit specific render engine requirements. Ensure the rug is placed on a separate layer or tag to manage visibility independently. When scaling the model, use the native scale tool while maintaining the aspect ratio to preserve the proportions of the table frame and chair structure.

This dining set is ideal for contemporary residential projects, including high-end apartments, villas, and open-concept dining rooms. It also functions well in hospitality settings such as boutique restaurants or hotel executive dining areas. Designers often search for these pieces when specifying modern interior schemes that require a mix of transparency, bold geometry, and monochromatic palettes. It pairs effectively with minimalist lighting fixtures and contemporary wall art, helping to define a sophisticated dining zone within a larger architectural space.
