About this asset

This modern grey wood integrated work desk unit is a 3ds Max model featuring a vertical storage cabinet and tiered shelving. This comprehensive workstation unit combines a desk surface with a full-height vertical storage cabinet and overhead open shelving. Finished in a light grey wood grain laminate with contrasting dark grey frame elements, the design is tailored for a contemporary home office or gaming space. The desk surface includes integrated cable management and space for two PC towers. Two horizontal shelves above the desk provide display area, accented by built-in lighting. The unit is paired with a dark-stained wood chair with a curved backrest, completing a cohesive, functional setup for a professional or creative workspace.

The download is a 60.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy separation of the desk, storage units, and accessories. Users can adjust the material IDs to customise the wood grain or matte finish of the panels. The lighting components are pre-configured with light material properties, ready for integration into a V-Ray or Corona scene. Proper scaling is maintained, ensuring the unit fits standard wall heights, while the UV mapping is optimised for seamless texture application across the large vertical surfaces.

Ideal for residential home offices, bedroom workspaces, or compact studio apartments, this unit provides an efficient solution for small-footprint interiors. It works well in modern or minimalist design schemes where vertical storage is required to maximise floor space.
