About this asset

This minimalist L-shaped sectional sofa for 3ds Max features a clean, continuous silhouette upholstered in a neutral white fabric. Defined by its fluid, organic geometry, this L-shaped sectional sofa prioritises a seamless aesthetic. The design consists of a single, continuous backrest that curves into the armrests, paired with a deep, low-profile seat base. The lack of visible legs or complex seams creates a monolithic appearance, suitable for contemporary interior schemes. Finished in a matte, light-toned fabric, the piece maintains soft, rounded edges throughout its form, providing a sculptural quality. Its proportions are balanced for lounge comfort, offering a generous corner seating arrangement without the visual weight of traditional sofa designs.

The download is a 6.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, use the native pivot point to position the sofa directly onto the floor plane. The object is structured as a single mesh, allowing for straightforward material application or unwrapping if custom fabric textures are required. Ensure the scale is verified against your room dimensions, as the minimalist form may appear smaller than standard modular sofas. Lighting should be adjusted to highlight the soft curves and subtle shadows along the rounded edges.

This sectional sofa is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, modern apartment lounges, or minimalist hotel lobby areas. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables and large-scale area rugs to ground the seating zone. Professionals seeking to create a calm, uncluttered atmosphere will find this piece useful for staging open-plan spaces. Search for this model when specifying contemporary, soft-modern, or gallery-style interiors where the furniture is intended to function as a focal point within the room architecture.
