Contemporary Grey Fabric Low Lounge Chair

This contemporary low lounge chair is a SketchUp model featuring a soft grey fabric seat set upon a minimalist white plastic base. Designed with a focus on relaxed, low-profile ergonomics, this lounge chair features a plush, upholstered seat component with visible soft-fold detailing. The primary seating area is finished in a neutral grey fabric, providing a tactile contrast to the smooth, rounded white plastic shell that serves as the base. The form is organic and compact, suggesting a casual, modular aesthetic suitable for contemporary interiors. Proportions are intentionally squat, emphasizing comfort and informality. The transition between the cushion and the rigid base is clean, maintaining a streamlined silhouette that works well in open-plan living spaces.

The download is an 11.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a component, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a scene. Users should verify the scale against their project's floor plan before finalizing placement. The geometry is optimized for efficient viewport performance, while the material assignments are grouped by texture, facilitating quick adjustments to the fabric colour or base finish using the native material editor. Ensure proper axis alignment when snapping the base to floor surfaces to prevent clipping with other furniture assets.
