About this asset

This minimalist black metal TV unit for 3ds Max features a low-profile linear design with integrated open shelving and decor accessories. This low-profile media console is constructed from a matte black metal frame, defined by its elongated, horizontal silhouette. The unit incorporates a mix of solid closed compartments and open-grid shelving, providing versatile storage for media components, books, and decorative objects. Included in the set is a tall blue-and-white patterned ceramic vase holding a decorative red branch, a flat-screen television, and various curated book stacks and small ornaments. The overall aesthetic is strictly minimalist, relying on clean lines and a monochromatic palette to anchor a modern living room or media space.

The download is a 60.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, the model is organised into logical layers for the unit and individual decor assets, allowing for easy selection and placement within a scene. Users should apply high-quality material definitions to the metal surfaces to ensure realistic light reflection. The unit is scaled for standard residential heights, making it simple to snap to a floor plane. For final rendering, ensure the pivot point is set at the base for efficient positioning against walls or as a free-standing room element.

Ideal for contemporary residential living rooms, this media unit works well in open-plan apartments where a sleek, unobtrusive storage solution is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist seating arrangements and neutral wall finishes, serving as a focal point for entertainment zones. Designers often search for low-profile shelving or media consoles when styling modern interiors, as this piece balances functional storage with curated display space. It is particularly effective for high-end residential projects, hotel suites, or luxury showroom displays needing a refined, uncluttered look.
