About this asset

This traditional Oriental pavilion SketchUp model features a two-story structure with an attached open-air deck and tiled roof. Designed with traditional Oriental architectural principles, this pavilion consists of a primary two-story volume paired with an open-air covered deck. The structure features white plastered walls, dark timber framing, and intricate lattice-style window detailing. The roof is finished with grey ceramic tiles, showcasing characteristic upward-curving eaves and decorative gable inserts. The ground floor includes a distinct hexagonal window, while the overall composition balances solid enclosed spaces with light, airy open-air pavilion sections, making it a comprehensive model for site planning or garden design visualization in professional projects.

The download is a 4.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model, import the file into your main project scene and place it on a dedicated 'Structures' layer to maintain file organisation. The geometry is grouped for easy manipulation, allowing for quick scaling or adjustment of the site orientation to match your project's North point. Apply custom textures if needed to match specific site conditions, and ensure the model's origin is set to the base level for accurate placement on terrain surfaces or floor planes.

This pavilion is ideal for landscape architecture projects, residential garden designs, or cultural site planning. It provides a focal point for exterior renderings and master planning phases. Professionals looking for traditional East Asian architectural assets will find this model useful for creating authentic outdoor spaces, public parks, or residential courtyards. It pairs well with native planting schemes, stone pathways, and water features, serving as a versatile asset for site-specific context building in both conceptual and developed design stages.
